Whether you are looking to become a well-rounded martial artist or just want the most intense workout of your life, our Muay Thai program is designed for all levels.

Don't have your own gear yet? No problem! For your trial class, we have spare gloves available for you to borrow. Just bring your workout clothes and a bottle of water, and we'll take care of the rest.

What is Muay Thai?

Often referred to as the "Art of Eight Limbs," Muay Thai is a stand-up combat sport that utilizes much more than just punches. Unlike traditional boxing, which uses two points of contact (fists), Muay Thai incorporates:

🤜 Fists: Clinical punching and movement.

💪 Elbows: Devastating close-quarter strikes.

🦵 Knees: Power strikes used in the clinch or at range.

🦴 Shins: Massive kicking power aimed at the legs, body, and head. 

The sport also features a unique clinch component—a form of stand-up grappling that allows you to control your opponent’s posture and deliver strikes from the inside.

Why should I train Muay Thai?

🥊 Muay Thai Gloves: Specifically designed with extra padding to protect your hands and your partner.


🩹 Hand Wraps: Essential for supporting the small bones in your hands and wrists.


💧 Bottle of Water: Staying hydrated is key for these high-energy sessions!

 


Good to Have (For Later Sparring Sessions):

🛡️ Shin Guards: Padded protection for your shins and instep during partner work.


👄 Mouthguard: Standard safety to protect your teeth and jaw.
